What we collect
Tadgi collects information when you choose to give it, for example when you make a donation, sign up for a campaign, ask to stay updated, or send a message through this website. Donation records may include your name, email, mailing address, telephone number, and the payment details needed to confirm a genuine gift. General browsing does not require you to identify yourself. The site may record the time, date, and technical details of a visit for statistics and diagnosis only.
How information is used
Information is used to keep an accurate record of donations, to send updates you can opt out of, and to make sure messages are relevant. Signing up for a service authorizes Tadgi to use the details you provide for that purpose. Information is handled by authorized staff. It is not sold, rented, loaned, traded, or leased, and it is not shared with outside agencies or third parties for their own marketing. If you ask by email for your information to be deleted, Tadgi will delete it within two working days.
Email lists
People who join a Tadgi mailing list through the website or a campaign are added to the email database. Those addresses are not sold, rented, loaned, traded, or leased.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information placed on your device so the site can recognize a return visit. You can set your browser to accept cookies, reject them, or warn you. If you block cookies, parts of the site may not work as intended.
Payments and other websites
When online payments are used, payment information is transferred over an encrypted connection. This website also embeds services such as YouTube and links to social media. Those services have their own privacy practices, which Tadgi does not control. Links to other websites, including the handbook, are provided for visitors. This policy does not cover those sites. Please read their policies before sharing information.
